With a hands-on, solutions-driven approach, we oversee a large and diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who treat each property with care—as if it were their own. As a family company in the truest sense of the word, we value trust, teamwork, and treating people right. Leadership Team

Yessenia Vasquez – Director of Operations

Yessenia has been with Real Estate Connection for over 20 years. She began her career here as a property manager and steadily climbed the ranks—first as a supervisor, and now as Director of Operations. Yessenia’s deep knowledge of the company, combined with her steady leadership and strong relationships with staff, make her an invaluable part of our team.
Fun fact: Yessenia is an amateur baker and never shows up to a staff meeting without something sweet in hand.

Elizabeth Montero – Supervisor

Elizabeth joined REC as a property manager in 2017 and became a supervisor in 2019. She brings a sharp eye for detail and a calm, encouraging presence that helps managers succeed. Her background in onsite management gives her firsthand insight into the challenges her team faces—and how to support them effectively.
Fun fact: Elizabeth is a huge Dodgers fan and never misses an Opening Day.

Fernando Ramirez Sr. – Supervisor

Fernando Sr. has been part of the REC family since 2015. With over a decade of experience in the field, he became a supervisor six years ago and is known for his no-nonsense leadership style, his deep knowledge of building systems, and his dedication to mentoring new managers.
Fun fact: Fernando Sr. is known for his legendary BBQ skills—his carne asada has become a staple at REC staff events.

Fernando Ramirez Jr. – Supervisor

Following in his father’s footsteps, Fernando Jr. started with REC as a property manager in 2021 and was promoted to supervisor just one year ago. He brings a fresh perspective and a strong work ethic, always stepping up to problem-solve and support his properties.
Fun fact: Fernando Jr. is an avid hiker who’s on a mission to visit every national park in the U.S.—he’s already crossed 12 off his list.

Ashley Hawley – Project Development Manager

Ashley plays a key role in overseeing internal systems, operations, and special projects at REC, leading efforts to modernize company infrastructure while preserving the hands-on, people-first culture the company was built on. From digital time tracking and email platforms to HR systems and compliance, she helps bring big-picture ideas to life.

Fun fact: Ashley is an instrument-rated pilot who loves flying out of Torrance Airport on weekends.

Sandra Tejada – Bookkeeper

With a keen eye for detail, Sandra manages the company’s financial records and ensures everything is accurate, timely, and compliant.

Sheetal Scott – Office Manager

Sheetal is the go-to person for just about everything. From coordinating vendor paperwork to supporting staff and vendors, she helps the office function like a well-oiled machine.

Sylvia Pallitto & Margaret O’Raidy – Assistant Bookkeepers

Sylvia and Margaret are essential to our financial operations, assisting with everything from rent posting to payroll and helping ensure our accounting is always in top shape.

Beyond the office and leadership, Real Estate Connection is powered by an incredible team of 68 on-site managers, 15 maintenance personnel, and a trusted network of specialized tradespeople—from plumbers and electricians to painters and elevator techs. Whether it’s fixing a leak, onboarding a new tenant, or ensuring compliance across dozens of buildings, every member of our team plays a vital role.
